On March 21 2019, as part of the seminar in Florence, the theatre company of the University of Florence Binario di Scambio staged Dulcinea e il cuoco, directed by Stefania Stefanin. The play is a reinterpretation of the comic musical interlude Madama Dulcinea e il cuoco del marchese del Bosco (‘Madama Dulcinea and the cook of the Marquis of the Bosco’), performed in Rome during the Carnival of 1712.
