On October 26-27, 2017, the first seminar of the Q.THEATRE project took place at the University of Oviedo.
In the first session of papers, professors Emilio Martínez Mata (University of Oviedo), Aaron M. Kahn (University of Sussex) and María José Álvarez Faedo (University of Oviedo) talked about the first recreations of Don Quixote and the life of the novel on English stages.
In the second session of papers, Lioba Simon Schuhmacher (University of Oviedo), Maria Fernanda de Abreu (FCSH Universidade Nova of Lisbon), Iole Scamuzzi (Università degli Studi di Torino) and Agapita Jurado (Università degli Studi di Firenze) commented on different aspects of Don Quixote on German, Portuguese and Italian stages.
